Poor Callie got left home alone for a bit and she was quite somber when I returned. I gave her a good brushing, an extra portion of food, and made sure she got played with. She is now resting on my lap. Silly kitty.

That little lump there is not Callie. Really, it’s not.
Callie does this really strange chewing thing where she’ll bite down on something and then sit there chewing the air for a bit. It’s like her jaw is sore or something, except she seems happy and doesn’t seem to be in pain.
She doesn’t do that rubbing her head behavior on stuff though, so maybe this is her version? Either way, we plan to take her to the vet eventually. Maybe they’ll know what’s up. Does this sound like normal kitty behavior, though? Anyone know?
